Every year, thousands of animals are either put down or killed because they do not have a loving home. Strays which roam the streets are brought to animal control and are offered for adoption, but not for long. If no one adopts the animal in only the short period of time it has, it will be destroyed. Yet still, buyers turn to pet shops and private breeders instead of shelters.
This puppy has all the love in the world to offer, yet nobody is there to love him, and possibly, no one ever will. Don't let careless mistakes happen. Please Spay and Neuter your pets. Adopt from a local shelter! |

October 10, 1999, a beautiful female cat came willingly to the four boys
who stopped on the side of the road and called to her. Her trust was
rewarded by unthinkable terror and cruelty - being used as a tug-of-war
toy until the boys heard something "pop", having her legs
broken, being jumped up and down on like a trampoline. Even when her
pitiful battered body was mercifully dead, her suffering was not at an
end. The boys then placed her ravaged body under the wheel of their car,
braking over her, as they drove off to find other amusement.
Laughing, the boys proudly showed off the scratches on their arms, telling their friends how the cat had struggled and cried before they finished killing it. They made sure it was dead though, they boasted, explaining how they had jumped up and down on its still breathing body, beaten it with a board filled with rusty nails, broken it's legs, flung it high into the air, and finally, shoved it under the wheel of their car, running over the cat before they became bored and were off to find other adventures.
